Halloween isn't the only exciting event happening in Austin this October. From music festivals to thrilling races, there are so many things to do this October. Austin City Limits, Austin's biggest music festival, returns for not one, but two weekends jam-packed with well-known and brand new acts. Circuit of the Americas is also the site of two major events this October- the U.S. Vintage Racing National Championship and Formula One U.S. Grand Prix. Both literature and cinema will be celebrated in Austin this October at the Texas Book Festival and Austin Film Festival. Austinites can also take a trip out to Fredericksburg to celebrate Oktoberfest, or stay home in Austin for the Austin Celtic Festival. October is definitely the month of festivals in Austin.
