With schools closing and pools opening, summer has definitely arrived in Austin, Texas. And since June is upon us, it’s time for another list of things to do this month in Austin. Summer concerts are in full swing, so be sure to take advantage of great summer venues like the Zilker Hillside Theatre. If you'd prefer an air-conditiond experience, the Long Center has a variety of family-friendly plays and performances. For those who love to look at Harleys, the annual Rot Rally will be coming back to the Travis County Expo Center, so look out for all the cool motorcycles on Austin roads. And if you're looking for fun camps to send your kids to this summer, be sure to check out our 2013 Austin Summer Camp Guide.

Do512 and Alamo Drafthouse are proud to announce their latest collaboration, Austin Sound & Cinema, presented by Aquasana. This 6 show series will feature live bands paired with classic movies, on the sprawling lawns of the Long Center.
These events will be FREE, all-ages, and open to the public thanks to support from our presenting sponsor Aquasana, the Austin based makers of best-in-class home water filtration systems. They will be on-site with free, filtered & chilled water for every event.
Food trucks including Whole Foods, Frank, and Blue Ox BBQ will be selling food on-site starting at 7pm. Beer, wine, and Deep Eddy specialty cocktails will be available for purchase. Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets.
Music will begin at 8pm followed by the film screening beginning after sundown.
Free car2go valet parking will be available for all events, at the Long Center main entrance on Riverside. Additional parking available in the Long Center garage.
