Need to find the perfect pumpkin to carve or put in your favorite pie? Pumpkin patches are popping up all over the Austin area this October at churches, garden centers, and local farms. To help you find a patch near you, we've put together a list of pumpkin patches from Kyle to Georgetown. You could even plan a weekend trip to patches in Marble Falls and beyond. In addition to a large selection of pumpkins, several of the patches on our list are hosting fun fall activities and festivals, including corn mazes, petting zoos, and even bounce houses, throughout the month of October.

Celebrate fall in the Austin area at one of these pumpkin patches:

ACTS Church- The pumpkin patch at ACTS Church is open Monday-Friday from 1 - 7 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 10 am - 7 pm. The patch opened October 3rd and will remain open until there are no pumpkins left!

Austin Oaks ChurchThe pumpkin patch will be open October 13th - 31st, Monday - Friday from 8 am - 7:30 pm, and Saturday from 9 - 6 pm. Take pictures in the patch and enjoy live music, food, and activities at the Concert Under the Oaks festival at 4pm on Sunday, October 25th.

Barton Hill Farms- Take a drive east to Bastrop for family fun! Kids can enjoy all sorts of fun activities, including a five acre corn maze, kids maze, pumpkin patch, pumpkin painting, shipwreck sandbox, sack races, farm animal petting zoo, cow train, jumping pillow, food, and live music. Admission is $8 for ages 3 - 11 and $11 for ages 11 and up, with an extra $5 fee for certain activities like the cow train and jumping pillow. The farm is open only on Saturdays from 10 am - 10 pm and Sundays from 10 am - 5 pm, with special hours on Columbus Day (October 12) from 10 am - 5 pm.

Bethany Lutheran Church- The church's pumpkin patch will be open daily from October 11th - 31st from 10 am - 7 pm. Come out for the Fall Festival on October 25th from 3 - 6 pm, with a carnival, hayride, food, petting zoo, and trunk or treat.

Bethany United Methodist Church- The pumpkin patch is open October 5th - 31st, Monday - Friday from 3 - 7 pm, and Saturday - Sunday from 9 am - 7 pm. Proceeds for the pumpkin patch support the church's youth ministries.

Buda United Methodist Church- The church is hosting their pumpkin patch at Gray Gardens in Buda from September 25th - October 25th. Pick your pumpkins from 10 am - 8 pm daily.

Cross Plants and Produce- Take a weekday drive down to Kyle to pick your pumpkin Tuesday - Friday from 10 am - 6 pm. Weekends at the patch are filled with storytimes, pumpkin-themed workouts, and other fun events!

Elgin Christmas Tree FarmThis farm isn't just for Christmas and offers fall fun throughout October! Choose your perfect pumpkin at the Pumpkin Festival October 10th - 11th and October 17th - 18th, from 10 am - 5:30 pm on Saturday, and 12 - 5:30 pm on Sunday. Admission is $6 for ages 2 - 12 and $8 for ages 13 and up. Fun activities include a maze, pumpkin painting, rubber duck races, and a hay ride. The farm is also open throughout the month of October with fun activities Monday - Thursday from 10 am - 2 pm, Friday - Saturday from 10 am - 5:30, and Sunday from 12 - 5:30 pm.

Evergreen FarmsWeekends in Elgin are prime for a pumpkin hunt at Evergreen Farms. The farm is open Saturdays from 10 am - 5 pm and Sundays from 1 - 5 pm. Admission is free for everyone, but activities like the pumpkin launcher, pumpkin maze, train ride, bounce house, and face painting charge a small fee.

First United Methodist Church Georgetown- Pumpkins arrive in Georgetown on October 7th and the patch will be open daily October 8th - 31st from 9 am - dusk.

First United Methodist Church Pflugerville- Pumpkins take over Pflugerville October 4th - 31st. The patch is open weekdays from 4:30 - 7 pm, and weekends from 9 am - 7 pm.

Leander United Methodist Church- Pumpkins are coming late to Leander, with this patch opening October 19th - 31st. The patch is open Monday - Friday from 2 pm - dusk, Saturday from 9 am - dusk, and Sunday from 12 pm - dusk. The church is also hosting a fall festival October 24th from 2 pm - 4:30 pm. Kids can enjoy playing on the bounce house, face painting, games, and a costume contest.

Red Barn Garden Center- Find your perfect pumpkin at this patch, closing October 31st. The patch is open daily. There's also a fall festival planned for October 17th from 10 am - 4 pm, with fun activities like a bounce house and petting zoo.

South Texas Maize- Take a family road trip to Hondo, Texas (east of San Antonio) this month to get lost in the huge, 7 acre maze. Kids can also have a blast with two jumping pillows, hayrides, campfires, mountain slide, and of course, a pumpkin patch. On weekends, kids can dress up in costume for trick-or-treating through the maze. The maze is open Fridays from 5 - 9 pm, Saturdays from 10 am - 9 pm, and Sundays from 12 - 5 pm. Admission is $14 for ages 3 - 64, $10 for ages 65 and up, and free for children under 2.

St. Richard's Episcopal Church- Round Rock pumpkins are available October 2nd - 31st at St. Richard's. The patch is open Sunday - Friday from 12 - 8 pm and Saturday from 9 am - 8 pm. Families can come out October 18th from 2:30 - 6:30 pm for the church's Great Pumpkin Festival, which has all kinds of free fun like live music, food trucks, trunk-or-treat, face painting, and bounce houses.

Sweet Berry Farm- Head out to Marble Falls this October to pick out your perfect pumpkin. The farm is open until November 8th, Monday - Saturday from 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, and Sundays from 11 am - 5 pm. The farm is closed every Wednesday. Admission to the farm is free, but there are individual charges for activities. Fall fun activities include face painting, scarecrow stuffing, pumpkin decorating, hayfield mazes, a petting zoo, and hayrides.

YMCA Camp Twin LakesThe YMCA in Cedar Park is hosting their annual pumpkin patch October 1st - October 31st. Pumpkins for carving are $10 each. The patch is open Monday - Friday from 4 - 7 pm, Saturday from 9 am - 4 pm, and Sunday from 1 - 6 pm. Families will have a blast at the Fall Festival on October 17th, from 2 - 9 pm. Admission is just $8 for everyone ages 2 and up. Exciting activities include a zipline, climbing wall, carnival, paintball, train rides, and a costume contest.
