While most of the development in the Austin area is centered in the suburbs, one developer is building new homes in the Central Austin area. PSW Real Estate has developed a reputation for building homes in neighborhoods that are typically considered “built out”. Their latest projects have given Austinites another option when it comes to living in popular areas like Northwest and South Austin. If you’ve been looking for a new home in a great Austin location, keep an eye out for these homes hitting the market in 2015.

One of their newest communities, Spicewood, will be built on a 2.5 acre lot just off of Spicewood Springs Road. The community will feature about thirteen homes and a neighborhood pool. Homes will measure around 2,500 square feet in size and feature 3-4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The property is surrounded by mature trees that will no doubt create a picturesque setting for this neighborhood. Just north of Spicewood, PSW Real Estate is building another development called Cima Hills. This neighborhood will be slightly larger than its sister community with 16 homes slated to be built there. Homes will be slightly smaller at about 2,100 square feet in size, but will still feature 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.

Both properties are minutes from Anderson High School and Hill Elementary School, which are two of the highest-rated schools in Austin ISD. Their convenient location near Mopac puts residents only a short drive away from downtown, local shopping centers and restaurants. Homes in Spicewood are expected to be priced in the $600s, while Cima Hills homes will be priced in the $500s. The developers expect that these neighborhoods will be popular with a multitude of Austin homebuyers, from empty-nesters to young families.

Other projects on the books for PSW Real Estate include one condominium community and three single-family home communities in South Austin and East Austin. These developments will be larger than Spicewood and Cima Hills with about 20-40 homes. Their locations are also among the most desirable in Austin, including within up and coming East Austin and the Bouldin Creek community. Austinites eager to call these popular areas home can expect them to be available in early to mid 2015.
