This is the third year in a row Austin has hosted one of the biggest racing events in the world, the United States Grand Prix. This weekend, people from all over the country and the world will flock to Austin to see their favorite drivers compete in a world championship race. Last year, over 250,000 attendees came out to Circuit of the Americas for the Grand Prix, which was the highest attendance of any race in 2013. With so many exciting events and races planned for this weekend, you can bet that 2014 will top that record! In addition to the Grand Prix race, fans can enjoy two thrilling support races- the Porsche Mobile 1 Supercup and Ferrari Challenge. Food vendors, sports bars and entertainment booths with Texas-themed activities will also be open to race fans all around the track. The whole weekend concludes with an exciting concert by Kid Rock!
