For the second year in a row, the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix is coming to Austin. The race will be held from November 15-17 at the Circuit of the Americas race track located east of the Highway 130/45 toll road along FM 812. Over 220,000 visitors from all over the world came to Austin in 2012 for the Grand Prix, and this year promises to be even more exciting. In addition to the Grand Prix race, the Ferrari Challenge will also be held during the action-packed weekend. This smaller scale race features amateur Ferrari drivers testing their skills on a high-level race track. Besides taking in the thrills of high-speed cars zipping along the track, race fans can also enjoy food and merchandise vendors, a post-race walk along the track and even a live performance by rapper Pitbull.
