Austin Christmas LightsIt’s the most wonderful time of the year! The holiday season is upon us again and Christmas 2012 promises to be full of fun and cheer for those celebrating in Austin. Whether you’re a long time resident or just visiting for the holidays, Austin is a great place to spend the holiday season. In fact, Austin has so many holiday festivities it can be a little overwhelming. So we’re helping out Austinites by giving you our Austin Christmas Events 2012 Calendar. Many of these are free Christmas events in Austin, Texas, such as the best places to look at Christmas lights in the city, while other events like the Austin Christmas train ride will require tickets.  
  • Nov. 16-Jan. 1- Marble Falls Walkway of Lights
    • When: 6:00pm-10:00pm every night
    • Where: Lakeside Park, Marble Falls, TX
 
  • Nov. 21-Dec. 31- Listen to Our Lights
    • Every year, Mr. Storm’s light show brings a smile to many faces from all around Austin. Originally in Round Rock, the amazingly light displays can now be found in Cedar Park.

  • Nov. 23-Dec. 23- The Santaland Diaries
    • The hysterical tale of the elf Crumpet and all of his woes as one of Santa’s workers.
