As first time home buyers, we worked with Sarah Biggerstaff though the Fall and Spring of 2015. From the beginning of the process, Sarah was very approachable and competent. Despite the intense nature of Austin’s current real estate market, we were able to move into the home we wanted within our budget. We made a quick decision on a small remodeled home in Northeast Austin. Sarah got our offer accepted quickly. This avoided an aggressive multi-offer situation. After we went under contract, Sarah negotiated all the repairs discover by the inspector. Sarah has the skill and competence to handle complex real estate transactions. She also has an excellent team of people to handle any specific issues that may arise.Todd Wilson and Rosy Hill
As a first time home owner, I went into this process completely unprepared and overwhelmed. I so appreciate all the extra steps Sarah took to make my purchase a joyful one. Sarah was always available to discuss options and explain the areas of real estate and the purchasing process that were foreign to me. She was encouraging and patient when I felt frustrated and distraught. She was my trusty liaison with all persons and parties involved and even set up my utilities! She demonstrated an extreme amount of character when she took monies from her own commission to ensure that the interest rate that was quoted to me was met. Sarah is truly knowledgeable and professional and I would absolutely recommend her to my friends and family.Brittany Kerr
I can't thank Sarah enough for being such an advocate for us and supporter of ours during the whole home-buying process. Who would've thought that picking the house would be the easy part? This process was much more emotional than I ever would've guessed, and I wholeheartedly believe I would never have been able to get through it without Sarah there supporting us, taking care of us and being a sounding board for us. I so appreciate all of her time and help.Shelby and Brian O'Neill
Sarah Biggerstaff helped us purchase a rental property in Austin, TX. She is a delightful real estate agent and willing to go the extra mile! Refreshingly, Sarah was 100% invested in our best interests. After putting an offer on one property, the home inspection revealed significant deficiencies. Sarah was diligent and reliable through all the extra negotiations that entailed. We finally made the difficult decision to retract our offer. Sarah was patient with us when we resumed the search for another property. With the second property we chose, the transaction went seamlessly. Sarah was always available to answer our questions. She is a lovely person and a positive voice in what can be a stressful experience. After closing, she was very helpful when it came to showing and renting the property. We would highly recommend Sarah as a real estate professional.Henry Pfister and Danielle Brestel
As a homeowner who recently sold his property, I do have to say I was thoroughly impressed with Sarah Biggerstaff, from the first discussions on when to list (it sold in the first week) and for how much (got more than we originally considered). Her professionalism, persona, and cool as a cucumber confidence truly shine above and beyond the few years experience she has under her belt. You could say she is a natural born Realtor-- Reilly Realtors has a great agent in their portfolio. Several pre-listing suggestions were offered and acted upon, and her communication skills (this is important) were welcomed throughout our time working together (well, she did all the work!).David Sadowski
I'd like to say Thank You, Sarah, and may you have more success stories like mine!
Sarah was incredibly helpful in our home buying process. As first time home buyers, we had many questions, and Sarah was always attentive, answered our questions, and really helped put us at ease. When we were looking at houses, she wasn't pushy at all, but would offer her thoughts on certain features and benefits of the house. Once we found a house we liked, she handled everything to make sure that we successfully closed on time. She was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend her!Kyle and Lindsay Welch
Sarah was so helpful in our search for a new home. She was able to answer all of the questions we had in the north central Austin area. Sarah is willing to go above and beyond to make sure you get to see every option out there. We are so happy we were able to work with her!Bobby Witt and Alisha Kurio
Sarah has to be one of the best realtors in Austin. She knows the home buying process inside and out and was great at guiding me through it. I seriously had no idea what an option period was before I met her. She was so helpful and made the process an easy one. I knew too many people who had to meet their realtors in person to sign documents (what year are we living in?!). Sarah, on the other hand, did everything digitally and it was so quick and convenient. She is also amazingly responsive via email, text, and phone. With the market in Austin being as hot as it is, it made quite a difference to be able to text her and schedule a showing immediately. Sarah is such a pleasure to work with too. You can tell that she loves what she does and is so passionate about Austin and helping others find the perfect home. I am pretty sure I can go on and on about why Sarah was the best; I definitely recommend anyone who is looking to purchase a home in Austin to work with Sarah.Jennifer Noinaj
I just sold my house in South Austin, and I couldn't have done it without Sarah! I met her when she was hosting another open house a few houses down from mine, and let her know I'd be listing my house soon. She walked me through all of the steps, and held my hand throughout the entire process! She was great at helping me decide the necessary minor improvements to make before listing, and was really strategic and conscientious about the budget. After working with Sarah, I feel comfortable saying she knows Austin and it's real estate like the back of her hand. I could not recommend her any higher!Shawn Jones
Adventurous, knowledgeable, thorough and truly cares. During Spring Break, my elderly mom, two kids and I started our home search. We had to be out of our rental by May 1st by no choice of our own. Under a serious time crunch, Sarah helped us stay within budget and find a home that met all of our needs within a week! We closed on the house two weeks before our deadline. Sarah helped me even with my budget constraints and less than stellar credit. With her contacts and adventurous spirit we were able to buy a house I never thought I would be able to purchase. There were times where I thought all was lost but Sarah was upbeat and positive in a productive and not annoying way. She was tireless, efficient, flexible and if she didn't have an answer she found out! I can't say enough. Sarah changed our life for the better. I left feeling like she truly cared about me and my family. She helped us with resources even after we closed. I highly recommend Sarah to anyone buying a residence anywhere in the Austin area. She absolutely cares about finding you a home!Tannia Benefield
I couldn't have had a greater experience buying a home than I had with Sarah. As a first time homebuyer, I was both uneducated and very curious about the whole process, but she was great in guiding me through purchasing a home. We discussed my needs as a future homeowner to help figure out what I should be looking for, and she was readily available for most questions and visits as they came up. She found several great homes, and when I was finally able to get a bid on one, helped simplify things and find ways to get greater value out of my home. I've been there for a month now and couldn't be happier!Jer-el Martinez
When I mentioned to Sarah that I’d had trouble refinancing a condominium last year, she listened carefully and suggested that maybe I just hadn’t found the right lender. Condominium projects tend to have more evolving requirements than houses do, so she referred me to someone with the kind of experience that she knew would benefit me. With her help, I met other helpful and knowledgeable people and ultimately was able to refinance and get a much better deal on my mortgage than I’d had before. She was supportive and patient as I navigated this process, and I would definitely go back to Sarah if I had other questions about home loans or anything related to residential real estate in general.Max Langert
Working with Sarah Biggerstaff was a pleasure. She made the stressful process of selling my Austin, TX home very easy. I contacted her because a house around the corner had her name on the sold placard. From the moment I met her I liked her and could feel her genuine enthusiasm and interest. Throughout the process I felt that she honestly cared and she went above and beyond the call of duty on several occasions. When a potential buyer wanted to view my home and I had a commitment that meant I would not be able to take my two dogs, Sarah volunteered to look after them herself. Furthermore, my sale was complicated by the fact that I had to probate my husband’s will before the sale could occur. When an issue arose in connection with this I was able to call Sarah even though she was at the airport on her way to Paris, France for her Christmas vacation and she contacted the necessary parties before her plane departed. Needless to say, I have the highest regard for Sarah and respect her abilities as a realtor. I have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone who needs to sell their home. She is a professional, but even more than that, she is a genuinely warm and caring person who is easy to get along with and does whatever it takes to make you feel at ease during the stressful home selling process.Teddie Cline
Sarah Biggerstaff involved herself in the sale of my house from the first moment we met. She constantly looked for selling opportunities despite some thorny blocking issues I presented. She capitalized on a good fit for my situation literally from the ends of the earth (Machu Picchu). She is friendly and professional – a decidedly good combination for her role.Michael Puckett
Sarah is top notch at what she does, very knowledgeable about real estate and very willing to help in any way she can. We met for coffee a few months ago to discuss her helping me find investment properties. She has searched tirelessly to find just the right ones and we have made that dream of mine come true. I thank her for all she has done and I know we have many more opportunities to work together in the future. Thanks Sarah!!!Louann Mclaughlin
Working with Sarah was really great; as a native Austinite, she understands the city and is versatile enough to have a client-specific feel for what you're looking for in a home. She's a good listener and had great advice and suggestions, working with us like a friend rather than simply a realtor throughout the process. In addition, she was very available and friendly, making the whole thing even easier. My wife and I were on our home search for nearly a year and found Sarah towards the end of that time, and we're so glad we did - we wouldn't have ended up in this amazing home without her. Highly recommended!Reed and April Burnam
Sarah went above and beyond. I needed to buy a home in Harker Heights a town near Killeen. Even with this extra distance, Sarah proved to be a great asset to me. Sarah let me take my time with the process of searching. Once I found the home that suited me, she was there with me in Harker Heights walking me through the process. The last time I bought a home was before the 2008 housing bubble burst so many things changed with buying a house since then. Sarah was available to reassure me with all the new requirements. The process was frustrating at times due to a disagreeable seller (living overseas) and paperwork issues. She did as much as she could to make it as smooth as possible. Sarah showed me that she cared and push things along at her level. I couldn't imagine having to do this entire process myself. As a single dad that works an hour away from home, I appreciate how Sarah lightened the load in this house buying process.Raj Harripersad
Sarah is an extremely hard-working and diligent person. As a first time home-buyer, I had lots of questions and she was happy to lead me through the process. Sarah was available at all times during the day and responded to emails and phone calls very promptly, especially during the contract/option period. She's also very knowledgeable about the Austin area! I'd definitely recommend working with her and would have her as my agent again in a heartbeat.Sarvesh Rajasekaran
Sarah, thank you so much for always thinking about my needs/wants as a buyer. I have now been a homeowner for a year and didn't even realize it until I got your kind note in the mail today. Thank you for going above and beyond - there are not many kind and honest people/Realtors like you out left out there!Erica Elise
Sarah was wonderful to work with. She was always courteous, efficient and prompt in all that she did. I would highly recommend her to anyone buying or selling a home in Austin.Christine Studebaker
Sarah was diligent, always thorough, and generously effusive with her positive vibe. My house/office was an unusual downtown mix, and Sarah's insight, advice, and presentation kept me going and in fact made the lengthy process a joy. She has a knack for disarming the negative prospects by simply being honest, candid, and sincere. I sought her out after receiving some marketing material she pushed on another property, and I wanted that type of aggressive approach. I feel like I won the lottery by making that one phone call.Francis Montenegro
Working with Sarah felt like working with an old friend-- she immediately understood what we were looking for, and I always felt like she had our best interests at heart. I was especially grateful at the beginning of our home buying process, when a miscommunication with our bank made us believe we weren't going to be able to qualify for a large enough loan to look in our desired area. We had already resigned ourselves to being renters for a while longer, when Sarah went out of her way to communicate with our lender, investigate the misunderstanding, and get us back on track just as our dream home dropped into our price range. We would have completely missed the opportunity if she hadn't realized what was going on! As first-time homebuyers, Sarah did an incredible job of educating us on the process, while making it as simple and pain-free as possible. I would (and have already) recommended her to anyone looking to buy, especially in the Cherrywood area. I can't begin to thank you enough, Sarah, for all of your hard work and dedication to your clients! You always go above and beyond, and it doesn't go unnoticed.Caitlin Alexander
Sarah is extremely knowledgeable, organized, and dedicated. She helped us feel at ease through the whole stressful process of buying our first home. She guided us without pressuring us, including helping us make the decision to walk away from a home that wasn’t right for us. She genuinely cares about helping her clients find the right home for them, and stayed in contact even after closing to make sure everything was still going well. Sarah is super easy to communicate with, which is important in the fast-moving Austin market. She always responded quickly and thoughtfully to our questions (and we had a lot!) We would absolutely recommend working with Sarah and would love to work with her again someday!Kathryn Dabbs and Casey Donnellan
Sarah Biggerstaff helped us buy our property. She was great, couldn't be happier with Sarah! She was always within a phone calls reach, answered all our questions and even gave us a nice gift after we closed.Todd and Dalia Ballard
Sarah's name came highly recommended on day one of my house hunt. She readily jumped into a whirlwind of an initial offer; agreeing to meet me, show me a home, and submit a solid offer just hours before cut off. Fortunately for us we were outbid, as we then got to spend 3 delightful months with Sarah before closing on our dream home. During this time, Sarah continually blew my boyfriend and I away with her astute knowledge of the market, as well as her flexibility, willingness, optimism & encouragement. What may be most impressive, however, is her undeniably down to earth, honest and trustworthy nature. Sarah is in no way self-serving, but rather fully dedicates herself to the best interests of her buyers. We never felt alone throughout the journey. While house buying is an indisputably stressful process, Sarah actually made the experience fun. As it relates to the home I ended up buying, Sarah knew of the listing before it was even posted on the MLS and showed it to us right away, late on a Friday afternoon. She worked throughout the weekend on our proposal and gave us great advice on making a reasonable yet competitive offer. I have no doubt that we would have missed this opportunity if Sarah wasn't as on her game, like she is! With the current climate of the Austin housing market, I felt super fortunate to be linked with such a go-getter. When it was all said and done, we ended up getting the home for $30k less than the asking price, which seems unheard of in this day and age. We've been in our home for over 3 months now and Sarah continues to offer assistance, when needed, with everything from handyman referrals, assistance with the homestead exemption, and even letting me know of other clients that she's housed in the neighborhood that she knows we'd enjoy! I will forever recommend Sarah to any of my friends who are looking to buy or sell. I am happy to not only call Sarah my realtor but now also a dear friend!Kristi Kaiser
Sarah is a complete pleasure to work with. From day one she showed more interest in helping me find my first home than any other Realtor I had spoken with. She was flexible with my schedule, helped me navigate a cutthroat housing market as a first time buyer, and showed an amount of personal care that was far above my expectations. Even with a stressful, unforeseen hurdle right before closing, Sarah was professional and made me feel at ease. She was even kind enough to send me a six-month anniversary note in the mail. It's those personal touches that really set Sarah apart.Kelly Curtis
Sarah Biggerstaff is very knowledgeable, helpful and a pleasure to work with. She's understanding and committed to the highest level of customer service. We had to find a house quickly, and Sarah helped make this happen and exceeded our expectations.Esther Burnham
We recently bought a house with Sarah Biggerstaff and had a wonderful experience. She was extremely knowledgeable and quick to respond to any questions, concerns, and requests. When it came to making requests of the seller she gave excellent advice and was an amazing advocate for us. She also stayed in touch after the sell and continued to provide assistance. I would absolutely use her as our realtor again and recommend her to friends and family!Marla and Alex Schmitz
I moved from Seattle to Austin upon retirement to be closer to my daughter. I had only visited a few times but had no idea where to look. Sarah was recommended to me by the bank where I had just opened an account. Best advice I ever received. I thought I wanted a condo and knew my price range. Sarah listens. She hears what you want but also listens to what you need. When we discussed the Sun City area, she took me to see several condo properties but first she asked me to check out a small single family home she thought would be perfect for me. Great advice, because after several more days of checking out condo properties, I ended up putting an offer on the house Sarah had recommended to me! Sarah makes every client feel like her only client. Her responsiveness and attention to detail make her a valuable partner in the trying search for the right place. Austin and surrounding areas have so much to offer newcomers. It really helps to have someone so knowledgeable help find the right place in the right location.Lynnell Bice
