When most people think West Austin they think expensive homes. Think West Lake Hills and add thoughts of the exemplary schools in the Eanes School District. A West Austin address has cache, as some of Austin's most prized neighborhoods are located in this Austin region: Barton Creek, Davenport, Seven Oaks and Rob Roy to name a few. The cities of Rollingwood and West Lake Hills sit on the west bank of the river and have easy commutes to downtown. The hills seem to start here, making the region one of the most beautiful in all of Austin. Points of interest include the 360 Bridge, Austin Country Club, Barton Creek Resort and Spa, Barton Creek Greenbelt, and the Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve.
