The original Rob Roy, located between 360 and Bee Caves Rd, is a neighborhood that almost never was thanks to City of Austin and environmentalist opposition in 1979. But eventually, the developers garnered the necessary approvals and high-end homes sprang up in this serene West Austin neighborhood.
