The Homestead neighborhood is an equestrian community in Bee Cave, Texas just west of the Spanish Oaks neighborhood on Hwy 71. There are no sidewalks here, so walking or driving through the neighborhood has a rural feel, while the hilly terrain and custom home designs make the Homestead neighborhood visually unique. The 1 to 8 acre homesites first went on the market in 1995 and a few lots are still available. Since 2007 homes have sold anywhere from the mid $300,000s to $1.3M. Just east of the neighborhood on Hwy 71 is Rosie's Tamale House (a local Tex-Mex favorite), the Hill Country Galleria, The Shops at the Galleria, and an HEB shopping center - a pretty urban list minutes from the quiet country setting of The Homestead Bee Cave.
