We found an interesting article in today’s Wall Street Journal for buyers – check it out at: “What Home Sellers don’t tell Buyers.” It covers some common things sellers don’t like to talk about that could impact buyers down the road. One paragraph in the article sums up how to avoid falling for a seller misrepresentation:  “Buyers need to do their own due diligence and not rely exclusively on what sellers and agents say. They should hire an independent home inspector or home-inspection engineer, one not referred by the seller—and be aware that real-estate agents typically represent the seller.”
